Communicating on the Web

About the Instructor

My name is Jennifer Cox, and I am an assistant professor at Salisbury University. I worked for several years as a newspaper journalist at various papers in Florida, including The Stuart News, Naples Daily News, and The Orlando Sentinel. Most recently, I was a multimedia intern at WashingtonPost.com, where I produced and edited multimedia packages for The Loudoun Extra.

I am in the midst of finishing my doctorate from the University of Florida. I received my Master’s degree as a Knight Fellow from the University of Alabama. I double-majored in journalism and public relations at Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers!

I am married to a fellow journalist, Jeremy Cox, who also now works for Salisbury University as an instructor and as the adviser to The Flyer newspaper. We have a beautiful, smart and funny daughter, Charlie, and two dachshunds, Oscar and Nacho.
